Hey all,

I turned on my mixer today and its giving me some issues... basically the master output is cutting out very briefly ( half a second or so) before coming back in again and continues to do this sporadically, perhaps every 15 seconds or so. Not good. Oh and occasionally after a 'cut' when the sound comes back on its slightly quieter/louder/bassier/etc... perhaps its time for a new mixer...

I've tried running both my turntables and my cdjs through the mixer and it doesn't seem to be anything to do with them, so I'm fairly sure its a mixer issue. I've also given my crossfader a little clean and this hasn't helped either.

The mixer just a little Numark DXM 06.

Any help or ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Do the headphones cut out as well? Do L & R channels cut out together at the same time or only one channel? Have you tried using a different output?

Yes the head phones cut out at the same time

Both L and R cut out at the same time.

Ahh no I havn't tried another output, I'll try the record out and see if it helps.

Hmm well it doesn't sound like it's a cable or connector so it's probably faulty internally... Might be time for a new mixer.
